18 North Korean Soldiers Arrested In Russia After Deserting

Russian specialists have confined 18 North Korean officers who abandoned their situations in Kursk Oblast, as per a tactical knowledge source addressing the Kyiv Free on October 21.

Pyongyang, a critical partner of Moscow, is supposedly getting ready to send around 11,000 soldiers to help Russia’s conflict exertion in Ukraine, for certain warriors previously showing up, as per Ukrainian authorities.

On October 15, Suspilne revealed that 18 North Korean officers had deserted their posts in districts close to the Ukrainian line, refering to anonymous knowledge sources.

Following their preparation, the 18 troopers were purportedly left in a forested area of Kursk Oblast for a few days without food or clear directions. On October 14, they deserted their situations looking for their Russian order.

After two days, the missing troopers were found and kept by Russian specialists around 60 kilometers (40 miles) from their unique area.

South Korean authorities affirmed the exchange of North Korean military faculty to Russia, while U.S. Select Panel on Knowledge Director Michael R. Turner cautioned that such activities could cross a “red line” for the US and NATO, encouraging prompt measures.

On October 18, a video surfaced online supposedly showing North Korean troopers in a Russian military camp getting gear and planning for organization against Ukraine.

The extending military participation among Russia and North Korea has included broad shipments of ordnance shells and long range rockets from Pyongyang to Moscow since the beginning of the full-scale war.
