EFCC grills six senior NSCDC officers over N6bn fraud

The Monetary and Monetary Wrongdoings Commission has captured six senior officials of the Nigeria Security and Common Guard Corps over supposed N6bn extortion.

The capture follows a request from Ahmed Audi, the NSCDC Commandant General, who guided the handover of the officials to the EFCC for cross examination.

Ola Olukoyede, Director of the EFCC recently wrote a letter to the NSCDC Commandant General, mentioning the arrival of the embroiled officials for addressing.

In this way, the officials were moved to the EFCC’s central command in Jabi, Abuja, where they are being barbecued, as per Punch.

“Six senior NSCDC officials are presently in our guardianship. They’re being barbecued by our examiners over supposed false exercises running into over N6bn,” a source told the distribution.

Babawale Afolabi, representative of the NSCDC has anyway kept information from getting the test.
