2027: Datti Baba-Ahmed declares presidential ambition
Datti Baba-Ahmed, former vice-presidential candidate of the Labour celebration within the 2023 widespread elections, has officially announced his aim to run for president within the 2027 polls.
He made the announcement throughout a rally on the birthday celebration’s country wide secretariat in Abuja, only a week after Peter Obi exited the Labour birthday party for the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Addressing birthday party members and supporters, Baba-Ahmed stated that his selection was once long-status and not stimulated by using Obi’s latest move, noting that his presidential ambition existed even before the 2023 elections.
“i have made myself to be had to contest for the workplace in 2027. I’m not following everybody’s trajectory or moving into everyone’s shoes.
“am i able to please remind you that before His Excellency Governor Peter Obi filed for the presidency, I aspired for the presidency earlier than him? The data are there on the way to see,” he said.
