51-year-old American returnee found dead in Ogun hotel
Sunday Abioye, a 51-year-elderly person who got back from the US of America (USA) has been found dead in a lodging in Sagamu in Ogun State.
As per the Ogun State Police Order, Abioye was found dormant in his room at the lodging around GRA, Sagamu on Wednesday.
Giving subtleties on his strange end, the Police Advertising Official in Ogun State, Omolola Odutola, in a proclamation on Thursday uncovered that the Police was reached by the Central Security Official of the lodging, one Oluwole, who revealed the disclosure of a departed client in one of the rooms in the inn.
She further expressed that after getting the report, a group of investigators visited the scene and on appearance tracked down the body of the departed previously positioned inside a vehicle outside the inn, being ready to be taken to the funeral home by his loved ones.
Upon examination, the police determined from the departed’s sibling, Jimoh Godday, living in Imota Lagos Express, that Abioye showed up in Nigeria from the USA on Saturday, November 16, 2024.
Likewise, one of the departed companion, Ogunmonti Ogunwole uncovered that he had accompanied him the earlier day to buy meds as he was whining.
Odutola said, “The focal point of the bed was drenched with a fluid like substance. A companion of the departed, Ogunmonti Ogunwole, affirmed that he went with his companion, Sunday to buy nine unique sorts of drug the earlier day because of his protests of disease.
“The body has since been emptied to the Olabisi Onabanjo College Showing Clinic Funeral home in Sagamu for a post-mortem. No known reason for death yet, and the case will be moved to State Criminal Examination Division for prudent examination.”
