65-Year-Old EU Man Divorcing His Wife To Marry Nigerian Teen He Met On Tiktok
A European family is expressing deep concern as their 65-year-old relative plans to divorce his wife and move to Lagos, Nigeria, to marry a young woman he met on TikTok.
A Reddit client, who professes to be the man’s nephew, uncovered this on Saturday, February 15, 2025.
He said his general has been in correspondence with the person for more than a year and right now sent significant measures of cash to her in light of multiple factors.
“It began a year prior. My uncle (65+, wedded) met a little kid (20-25) on TikTok, began talking and became hopelessly enamored… From that point forward, he sent huge load of cash to her for various reasons,” the Reddit client said.
“In spite of the family’s endeavors to mediate, the uncle stays steadfast in his choice, excusing worries about likely tricks.
“He doesn’t pay attention to anybody, doesn’t really accept that that it is a trick. My family is anxious about the possibility that that he will be burglarized, tormented, or killed there.”
