Gospel artiste, Timileyin Ajayi pleads not guilty to killing of NYSC member

Gospel artiste, Timileyin Ajayi, who was as of late captured for killing a young woman, Salome Adaidu, in Nasarawa state, has argued not blameworthy to the one count charge of at fault murder recorded against him.

Ajayi was summoned before Equity Simon Aboki of the Great Courtroom, Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital on Monday morning January 27.

He was accused of one count of chargeable crime deserving of death, as opposed to Segment 221 of the Punitive Code of Northern Nigeria

The 32-year-old was captured on January 12 for the m#rder of Adaidu, a 24-year-old individual from the Public Youth Administration Corps (NYSC), who served at Nicon Protection in the Country’s capital, Abuja, before her demise.

Salome was killed when she visited the suspect at his home in the Papalana hub at New Karshi in Karu Nearby Government Area of Nasarawa State.

While being marched before newsmen, Ajayi admitted to killing Salome who he guaranteed was his better half and said he regrets absolutely nothing as she supposedly undermined him.
