Nasarawa University Expels 37 Students Over Whatsapp Group (Photos)
Nasarawa State College, Keffi, has rusticated 37 understudies for one scholarly meeting over their supposed association in “criminal connivance, actuating aggravation of public harmony, and digital following.”
Reports got by SaharaReporters uncover the understudies made a WhatsApp gathering to fight the college’s presentation of a third semester. The college’s Senate supported their rustication at its 123rd Customary Gathering on October 31, 2024, following a survey by the Understudies’ Disciplinary Council.
A letter endorsed by the Enlistment center, Dr. Bala I. Ahmed, trained the understudies to remain off grounds except if approved. They should return in the 2025/2026 scholastic meeting with their watchmen and a letter of acceptable conduct.
The college’s choice, which was imparted to key authorities, has started banter among understudies and people in general.
