Sokoto governor introduces monthly allowances for imams, mosques workers
The Sokoto state government has released monthly allowances for Imams, their deputies, and Mu’azzins across the country, along new allocations for Jumu’at Mosques.
Governor Ahmed Aliyu made the announcement on Saturday at some point of the graduation rite of 111 Qur’an memorisers from the Sokoto department of the Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi foundation.
