
Rivers State House of Assembly resumes sitting after 6-month suspension (video)
The Rivers State House of Assembly today September 18 resumed plenary session after a six-month suspension imposed during the State of Emergency.

The assembly, led by Speaker Martin Amaewhule, reconvened at the Assembly Residential Complex along the Aba-Port Harcourt Expressway this morning September 18.
Recall that on March 18, President Tinubu declared a state of Emergency in the state and suspended the Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, his Deputy, Ngozi Odu and the lawmakers.
