South East Governors are seriously engaging relevant authorities for Kanu’s release — Alex Otti

Abia country governor Alex Otti has moved to dispel the grasp that South East governors have deserted Nnamdi Kanu, the detained chief of the Indigenous humans of Biafra (IPOB).

His clarification came a day after elders from across the South East staged a protest at authorities residence, Umuahia, over Kanu’s continued incarceration. The elders accused political leaders of neglecting the IPOB chief and urged Otti to rally his colleagues to press President Bola Tinubu without delay on the matter.

Otti expressed self belief that the continued engagements would in the end cause a breakthrough.

He vowed such distractions might not deter him from turning in on his guarantees to the humans of the kingdom.
