Don’t cover up criminal tendencies, corruption has ruined us – EFCC
The executive Chairman of the financial and monetary Crimes fee (EFCC), Mr Ola Olukoyede, has called on Nigerian youths to live focused, embrace generation for fantastic use, and expose crook activities around them.
talking through Babatunde Sulaiman, Head of Public Affairs, Lagos Zonal Directorate two, the EFCC boss gave the fee on Thursday, two October 2025, while addressing Batch B, move 2 corps participants at the NYSC orientation camp in Iyana Ipaja, Lagos.
Olukoyede advised young Nigerians to use the EFCC’s Eagle Eye App to file fraud and monetary crimes, stressing that corruption has crippled countrywide development. “Don’t cover up fraudulent practices. expose them. We must work to make matters work,” he stated.
The EFCC Chairman warned that involvement in internet fraud could destroy the future of many young Nigerians. He stated that being an ex-convict comes with extreme effects.
“An ex-convict can’t hold public workplace in future. Many can be denied visas, and no serious national or global corporation might be run through a person once jailed for fraud,” he cautioned.
