Ebonyi state youths gives Arise TV anchor, Rufai Oseni 24 hours to apologise to David Umahi for disrespecting him on national TV

A few youths in Ebonyi kingdom have staged a protest in Abakaliki, the kingdom capital, towards stand up television reporter, Rufai Oseni, over what they time period as ‘’disrespect” to their former governor and present day Minister of Works, Dave Umahi.

Umahi and Oseni clashed on television 2 days ago while Oseni, for the duration of an interview with the minister, asked him to tell Nigerians the cost per kilometer of the continuing Lagos-Calabar coastal street, Umahi appeared visibly agitated by using the question, declaring himself “a professor of practice in engineering” and dismissing Oseni’s inquiry as “standard.” He argued that road charges could not be calculated uniformly due to the fact every kilometre offered specific engineering challenges. however Oseji refused to go into reverse and insisted the minister responded the question. He endured pushing and asked the minister to hold quiet and allow him speak.

The protesting youths say Rufai’s comments to the Minister which includes ‘’If you could just maintain quiet and allow me speak, I might be glad” are disrespectful and that he should apologize.

That younger guy Rufai Oseni had the effrontery, the heart to invite Dave Umahi to keep quiet in the face of the whole wolrd. as it that used to be no longer adequate, he accused him of reporting him to Mr President. who is Rufai for godsake?”

They gave Rufai Oseni and stand up television 24 hours to tender an apology to their chief, Dave Umahi. they are saying failure to so that they might cause a non-stop protest.
