The abductors said my babies belong to them – Nigerian woman narrates how she escaped after giving birth to twins in kidnappers’ den
A lady, Maimuna Gawu, from Gawu Babangida in Gurara Neighborhood Government Area of Niger State, has gotten away from her ruffians’ lair a couple of hours after she was conveyed of a bunch of twins.
Her abductors are, notwithstanding, clutching the infants, saying the kids had a place with them.
As per Maimuna, she was seized subsequent to boarding a Sharon transport by the side of the road at the entryway of Suleja General Emergency clinic in Niger State, where she had gone to see a specialist.
Portraying her experience on ‘Tsalle Daya,’ a Hausa program on Distinction FM Minna, Maimuna said after she was inspected at Suleja General Emergency clinic, on last Thursday, she was informed that her normal conveyance date (EDD) was the next Friday, however while getting back, she unconsciously boarded a transport having a place with ruffians.
“I ventured out from home for the emergency clinic for antenatal consideration to check the strength of my child since I wasn’t feeling its development, and my significant other sent me cash for transport,” she described.
“At the recreation area, I boarded a vehicle that was going to Suleja and I landed at the Suleja General Medical clinic. In the wake of seeing the specialist, he requested that I return to the emergency clinic the next day for conveyance
“I boarded a Sharon transport by the side of the road and let the driver know that I was going to Lambata. Whenever we were moving toward Lambata, I told the driver the point I planned to land and he let me know he had heard me. Starting there, I blacked out; I didn’t have any idea where I was again until around 1am when I awakened on a bed in an obscure home with a trickle on me and later, I started giving birth and conveyed twins (young men) around 1am. At the point when I awakened, I saw a young fellow and an old lady,” she described.
“I heard the children crying yet I rested off again until Friday morning. At the point when I awakened, I got some information about the whereabouts of my children, however another lady let me know that they were not mine, saying that the infants had a place with them
“I began crying, beseeching them to give me my children. They said they won’t give me on the grounds that the infants have a place with them. In the night when the day was dull, they eliminated the trickle and let me know that they had a gathering with their chief; it was by then that I got away from the spot and ended up in Kagara, Rafi LGA,” she made sense of.
