The Nigeria Police Power (NPF) has captured five suspects engaged with trans-line gunrunning and recuperated a reserve of weapons, including 17 rifles, a gun, and ammo, ABN television reports.

The suspects — Adamu Noma, Matthew Audu, Andrew Poyi, Aminu Sani, and Aminu Talha — were secured on November 18, 2024, by agents of the Power Knowledge Department Insight Reaction Group (FID-IRT). A careful hunt of their premises uncovered 10 privately created AK-47 rifles, five Israeli-made AK-47 rifles, one gun, a siphon activity rifle, 20 rounds of AK-47 ammo, and a welding machine accepted to be utilized for assembling weapons.
