BBNaija personality Bella Okagbue has finally spoken out amid the ongoing buzz regarding her relationship and split with fellow reality star Sheggz.

In her Instagram story, Bella shared her thoughts after observing various interpretations of her experience, clarifying that she opted to stay quiet because she felt certain matters regarding her relationship should stay between her and her partner.

“For the last few days, I have seen people narrate my story on my behalf. I chose to keep my mouth shut because I felt some details should remain personal, but my silence does not imply wrongdoing. I loved sincerely.

I supported the relationship at the time because I truly believed in it, and I decided to grant someone I cared about another chance because I think individuals can evolve,” she stated.

Bella addressed the discussions about marriage and engagement rings, emphasizing that desiring to wed someone she loves does not equate to desperation. She pointed out that discernment is crucial when deciding against marrying someone.

The reality star also disclosed that some narratives being shared online do not accurately portray her experiences, mentioning that there are parts of her story she has opted to keep private for now.

“Regarding marriage and the ring, let me clarify: wanting to marry a loved one isn’t desperation. Knowing when not to marry is about having discernment. Sometimes, it takes more bravery to leave than to stay. A ring won’t resolve what made a relationship unworkable. A plethora of promises, yet none have been kept,” she continued.

She wrapped up by stating that she had given love, loyalty, and growth a chance but has now chosen to prioritize herself and move on.
