CBEX: EFCC declares eight wanted
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared 4 people desired in reference to an alleged multi-million naira fraud related to the Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX), a virtual buying and selling platform.
The suspects diagnosed as Adefowora Olanipekun, Adefowora Oluwanisola, Emmanuel Uko,Johnson Okiroh Otieno, Israel Mbaluka, Joseph Michiro Kabera, Serag Michiro and and Seyi Oloyede, have been accused of orchestrating fraudulent sports that reportedly caused big economic losses for unsuspecting investors.
In a word posted throughout its respectable social media systems on Friday, the anti-graft employer requested individuals of the general public with beneficial facts at the whereabouts of the suspects to return back forward.
The EFCC emphasised its dedication to monitoring down people concerned in cyber- associated economic crimes, mainly inside the unexpectedly developing virtual asset space.
“The public is hereby notified that the people whose photos seem above are desired with the aid of using the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for fraud allegedly perpetrated on a web buying and selling platform known as Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX),” the employer said
Earlier in April, the virtual asset buying and selling platform ‘’collapsed” and in the end swept over N1. three trillion from investors’ wallets, leaving many Nigerians devastated.
