Declaration of the Death of Head of Armed force Staff, Lt. General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Military, second thoughts to declare the death of Lt. General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja, Head of the Military Staff, at age 56.
He died on Tuesday night in Lagos after a time of sickness.
Brought into the world on February 28, 1968, Lt. General Lagbaja was selected Head of Armed force Staff on June 19, 2023, by President Tinubu.
His recognized military vocation started when he signed up for the Nigerian Guard Foundation in 1987. On September 19, 1992, he was charged as a Second Lieutenant in the Nigerian Infantry Corps as an individual from the 39th Ordinary Course.
All through his administration, Lt. General Lagbaja showed excellent initiative and responsibility, filling in as a unit commandant in the 93 Brigade and the 72 Unique Powers Force.
He assumed vital parts in various inward security activities, remembering Activity ZAKI for Benue State, Lafiya Give in Borno, Udoka in Southeast Nigeria, and Activity Woodland Mental soundness across Kaduna and Niger States.
A graduate of the lofty U.S. Armed force War School, he procured a Graduate degree in Essential Examinations, showing his commitment to proficient development and greatness in military authority.
Lt. General Lagbaja is made due by his adored spouse, Mariya, and their two kids.
