Chimezie Richard Chima, professionally known as Dan RicHeE, is a Nigerian New college Ogene artist and songwriter, and the founder and author of the brand new college Ogene motion.

he is known for blending cutting-edge Afrobeats with culturally rooted Nigerian sounds, developing song that displays road influence, emotional storytelling, and modern African rhythm.
Dan RicHeE rose to prominence with songs which includes “Akonuche,” “Oganigwe,” and “Nwa Oma.”





CAREER
Dan RicHeE began his music career as an independent artist, steadily building a loyal fan base through consistent releases and relatable songwriting. He gained wider recognition with the release of “Akonuche,” a song that drew attention for its emotional depth and strong cultural resonance.
He further solidified his presence in the Nigerian music scene with tracks such as “Oganigwe” and “Nwa Oma,” showcasing his versatility and ability to connect with a broad audience. As the founder and creator of the New School Ogene movement, Dan RicHeE has played a key role in redefining and modernizing indigenous Ogene sounds for a new generation.
In 2024, he released his debut extended play, The Wave 1 (Original), a project that highlighted his artistic growth and positioned him as a rising figure within the Afrobeats and New School Ogene space.
