DHQ confirms emergence of new terrorists’ group in Northwest called Lukarawas
The Guard Base camp has affirmed the development of another psychological oppressor bunch known as ‘Lukarawas‘ in the Northwestern piece of Nigeria. The Overseer of Safeguard Media Tasks, Maj.- Gen. Edward Buba, unveiled this to newsmen in Abuja on Thursday, November 7, while talking on the activities of the military.
Buba said that the new dread gathering arose out of the Republic of Niger after the upset that prompted the breakdown of military collaboration among Nigeria and Niger.
He said that the psychological oppressors started attack into northern pieces of Sokoto and Kebbi States from the Niger Republic and Mali hub, especially after the overthrow in Niger Republic.
As indicated by him, before the upset, there were joint line tasks with Nigerien security powers, which kept the fear mongers under control.
“The fear mongers exploited the holes in collaboration between the two nations and took advantage of troublesome landscapes to make attacks in distant regions in a few North Western states to spread their philosophy,” he said
Buba said that the gathering was obliged by local people, who at first believed that the gathering had good intentions for them, adding that they neglected to report the development to the military and security offices.
He assuranced Nigerians that the Nigerian soldiers have supported insight, observation, and surveillance (ISR) to debase the psychological oppressors. He added that the fear bunch had kept on exploiting the immense under-administered regions to stow away and sidestep troops as well as irritate local people.
As indicated by him, troops are finding them and dispensing with the danger.
