The Public Basic liberties Commission (NHRC) says it recorded 339 affirmed common freedoms infringement cases in Gombe State in 2024.

NHRC representative, Mr Ali Alola-Alfinti, expressed this in a meeting with the News Organization of Nigeria (NAN) in Gombe.

Alola-Alfinti said that greater part of the cases were on parental disregard where fathers leave their youngsters and spouses, refering to financial difficulty and destitution as explanations behind their activities.

He said the cases were on the increment because of supported illumination crusades on common liberties infringement in the state.

As per him, the commission connects with common society associations, media, strict and local area pioneers to instruct individuals and urge them to stand up against the danger.
