FIFA Best Awards 2024: Vinicius Jr Named The World‘s Best Men’s Player
The FIFA Best Honors were held in Doha, Qatar, on Tuesday night.
Genuine Madrid winger Vinicius Jr was named the Men’s Player of the Year, beating Manchester City’s Rodri and his colleague Jude Bellingham to the honor.
In the ladies’ class, Barcelona midfielder Aitana Bonmati won the Player of the Year grant for the second sequential year.
The 2024 FIFA Puskas Grant for Objective of the Year was won by Alejandro Garnacho for his shocking above volley against Everton in the Head Association.
Aston Estate’s Emi Martinez was reported as the Men’s Goalkeeper of the Year, while Alyssa Naeher (USA and Chicago Red Stars) was named the Ladies’ Goalkeeper of the Year.
Carlo Ancelotti of Genuine Madrid won the Men’s Mentor of the Year, while Emma Hayes, who is currently with the USA Ladies’ Public Group, took the Ladies’ Mentor of the Year prize.
Thiago Maia of Brazil and Game Club Internacional got the FIFA Fair Play Grant 2024.
