Gov Makinde appoints Abimbola Owoade as new Alaafin Of Oyo

The legislative leader of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde, has supported Ruler Abimbola Akeem Owoade as the new Alaafin of Oyo.

An assertion by the Chief for Data and Direction, Ruler Dotun Oyelade, said that Sovereign Owoade after exhaustive interviews and divinations, has been suggested by the Oyomesi and endorsed by Lead representative Makinde.

As indicated by the official, an explanation with this impact has been given by the Magistrate for Nearby Government and Chieftaincy Issues, Hon. Ademola Ojo, who said that the declaration has settled all the socio and lawful bickerings that have followed since the downfall of Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III on April 22, 2022.
