Gunmen set Ondo police station ablaze, burn vehicles in night attack

Suspected gunmen on Wednesday night time attacked the Divisional Police Headquarters in Ipele network, Owo nearby government location of Ondo state, setting the station on fire and destroying residences.

The attack reportedly took place around nine:40pm. Eyewitnesses said the assailants stormed the police station, opened fire and set elements of the ability ablaze.

4 patrol cars and approximately 15 motorcycles stored within the premises have been burnt in the course of the assault, along several police well-knownshows.
