Officers chief Giovani van Bronckhorst has piled applauses on Calvin Bassey following his great exhibitions for the Gers in late excursions, reports Completesports.
Bassey has flourished in a new focus back position followimg wounds to any semblance of Leon Balogun and Filip Helander.
Van Bronckhorst hailed the Nigeria global for flourishing in his new focal job and tipped the 21-year-old to keep on sparkling in the new position.
“I haven’t seen him play a great deal as a left-back. I saw some recording however in my five games here he has played as a focal protector. I’m truly content with him, he has everything for a cutting edge protector,” Van Bronckhorst told the media as cited by Rangers Review.
“He’s actual fast, he’s great noticeable all around, genuinely he’s exceptionally solid and we are simply working with him on his development play.
“He’s an awesome child and like Nathan [Patterson] he’s available to learn new things, to be better every game.”
The protector has shown up for the Scottish Premiership advocate this season.
