INEC recognises Julius Abure as Labour Party national chairman
The Free Public Discretionary Commission (INEC) has formally acknowledged Advodate Julius Abure as the Public Administrator of the Work Party (LP).
As per reports, this acknowledgment follows a decision by the Government High Court in Abuja. On October 8, 2024, Equity Emeka Nwite maintained the Work Party’s public show held in Nnewi in Walk 2024, pronouncing it legitimate.
The court requested INEC to perceive the authority of Abure and the Public Working Advisory group (NWC) chose at the show.
INEC’s acknowledgment of Abure was affirmed in a letter addressed to him and the party’s Public Secretary, Alhaji Umar Farouk Ibrahim.
INEC’s Secretary, Rose Oriaran-Anthony, welcomed the Work Party to partake in its fourth consultative gathering with ideological groups.
