Former presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, has lamented about the seeming beneath reporting of the road beggars that accosted US streamer, Ishowspeed in the course of go to to Lagos country.
A video displaying the moment a few guys approached Ishowspeed and requested him to ‘’display them love” even as taking a excursion at the streets of Lagos, went viral. The youtuber did not realize the neighborhood parlance and asked what the beggars have been saying.

In a Twitter exchange with a northerner who felt the begging incident wasn’t nicely mentioned, Bashir argued that in terms of media insurance, the North has usually been left at the mercy of a story shaped from those who stay outside of the area. He argued that if the begging incident had took place somewhere inside the North, it wouldn’t have been tolerated but because it came about in Lagos, it’s been quietly swept beneath the carpet and everyone has moved on from it except condemning it.
