Kano Senator Assaulted At Emir Sanusi‘s Daughter‘s Wedding For His Ties With APC
Representative Sulaiman Abdulrahman Kawu Sumaila, addressing Kano South Senatorial Locale was on Friday attacked at the wedding function of Amina Muhammad Sanusi, the daugther of Emir of Kano, MuhammadLamido Sanusi.
In a video seen by NewsDay, a noticeably furious older man had attempted to hit Sumaila with his shoe at the occasion.
The man could be heard blaming Sumaila for unloading the head of Kwankwasiyya Development, Rabiu Kwankwaso for President Bola Tinubu.
Sumaila was chosen under the New Nigerian People groups Party (NNPP).
It took the mediation of Lead representative Abba Yusuf before the matter was settled.
Individuals from Kwankwasiyya Development have of late censured and blamed Sumaila for having attaches with President Bola Tinubu and the All Reformists Congress (APC).
The Representative had protected himself saying it was Kwankwaso who started the connection between all government administrators from the Kano State and the All Reformists Congress (APC).
