Katsina United fans slit rival player’s throat after his team mate scored equalising goal in NPFL match
A Nigeria Premier Football League match between Katsina United and Barau Football Club descended into violence on Saturday, Nov. 8, after Barau FC player, Nana Abraham, was attacked by Katsina United fans.

The incident occurred shortly after Barau’s Orji Kalu scored in the 69th minute to level the game at 1–1.
The goal angered Katsina United supporters inside the stadium so they invaded the pitch and attacked Nana Abraham, leaving him with a deep cut on his neck.
