Kenyan man seeks wife for his 32-year-old son, says he will pay dowry of six cows and N12m
A Kenyan man, Cosmas Choi, is seeking a wife for his 32-year-old son, Eli.
The father of nine, said to be a politician, disclosed this in a Facebook post on Monday, April 14, 2025.
He called on interested ladies to come forward, saying he will pay a dowry of six cows and KSh 1 million (approximately 12 million) for him.
“My son Eli Okongo is ready to marry. Single ladies, I am here to pay dowry 6 cows Ksh1 million. Message approved,” he wrote.
The post has elicited varying reactions with some people asking why the young man can’t find himself a wife.
The father clarified that his son is smart and capable of getting a wife on his own but he nevertheless wants to support him.
“My son Eli 32 yrs old is a smart man scored B- he can find himself a woman to marry but I am ready to support him in anyway,” he added.
