Kidnapping children is lesser evil than killing soldiers – Sheik Gumi
Islamic cleric Sheikh Gumi has described the abduction of college children as a “lesser evil” as compared to killing soldiers, insisting that Nigeria need to negotiate with bandits to save you more bloodshed.
speaking in an interview with the BBC shared on Tuesday, December nine, Gumi said that whilst the abduction of minors is “evil,” it remains less grievous whilst compared to the maiming of infantrymen.
“pronouncing that kidnapping children is a lesser evil than killing your squaddies, certainly is lesser. Killing is worse than, but they are all evil. It’s just a lesser evil. no longer all ev!ls are of the equal electricity.”he said
He cited preceding incidents, which include the mass abduction in Kebbi nation, arguing that the victims were freed except fatalities.
“So it’s a lesser ev!l than, like, what passed off in Kebbi. They kidnapped infants, and that they had been released. They didn’t ok!ll them.”he stated
