Lecturer to receive N40m compensation for wrong dismissal
A previous Teacher and speaker in the Government College, Oye Ekiti (FUOYE), in Ekiti state, Niyi Akingbe, is set to get a remuneration of N40 million over unfair excusal.
This request was given by the Public Modern Court in Akure.
Teacher Akingbe, the previous Acting Senior member of the Workforce of Expressions, of the establishment was unexpectedly excused from his work in 2018 over counterfeiting claims.
As per reports, the Teacher before his sack was a vocal pundit of the college’s initiative under previous Bad habit Chancellor Kayode Soremekun, who excused him.
