Oba of Lagos declares Atiku Abubakar will never be president, endorses Tinubu
The Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, has declared that former vp Atiku Abubakar will in no way grow to be Nigeria’s president.
Akiolu disclosed that destiny does no longer favour Atiku regardless of his long-status political aims considering the fact that 1992.
The monarch made the assertion whilst speaking to journalists at his Iga Iduganran Palace during celebrations marking his 22 years on the throne.
He contrasted Atiku’s repeated presidential bids with the emergence of President Bola Tinubu, whom he defined as divinely ordained.
“The destiny belongs to God. but let me say it it appears that evidently: former vp Atiku Abubakar will never be President of Nigeria,” the monarch stated.
He praised Tinubu as a compassionate and visionary chief, including that Tinubu individually presented his certificates of return to the Oba after his victory.
“Lagosians and Nigerians have to support him to fulfil God’s cause for the usa,” Akiolu entreated.
Oba Akiolu’s remarks strengthen the narrative that Tinubu’s presidency is supported via influential conventional figures, while Atiku’s long pursuit of the presidency keeps to stand skepticism from some quarters.
