Nigeria’s Reputation Declining Globally, Says Anyaoku
Previous Secretary General of Commonwealth, Chief Emeka Anyaoku on Tuesday said Nigeria notoriety is declining universally.
Anyaoku, who talked at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, during the Maiden Symposium of Emeka Anyaoku Institute for International Studies and Diplomacy, said a ton of work should be done to bring Nigeria’s profile up in the comity of countries and to win back the lost country’s regard.
“Today, Nigerian visa is treated with scorn in many regions of the planet. We have a ton of work to accomplish for the future as far as bringing Nigeria’s profile up in the comity of countries and winning appreciation for Nigerians,” he said.
Anyaoku, who likewise denoted his 89th birthday celebration, at the occasion, said Nigeria’s standing and discretion on the planet can be significantly impacted by the country’s homegrown circumstance.
