Tinubu Remains Our Rallying Point, Says Sanwo-Olu As Amaechi Visits Lagos
Babajide Sanwo-Olu, legislative head of Lagos, has informed Rotimi Ameachi, an official confident, that the desire of Bola Tinubu is the “energizing point” of the state.
The lead representative talked on Thursday in Marina, Lagos, where he got the clergyman of transportation.
Amaechi and Tinubu, a previous legislative head of Lagos, are official hopefuls on the foundation of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Sanwo-Olu, who wished the priest well in his official aspiration, noticed that he’s famously equipped for the top work.
The Lagos lead representative, in any case, said he is a “immediate recipient” of Tinubu’s initiative, and thusly, the state will uphold him to turn into Nigeria’s next president.
“I have sheer respect and regard for our chief, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu. I have been an immediate recipient of his authority. I have been essential for his bureau,” he said.
“By and by I keep on towing that line of administration and a big motivator for he.
“I need to share with you that you’re prominently qualified and I need to wish you well in this excursion. Obviously, for us all in Lagos state, Asiwaju keeps on being our energizing point, yet the nation is our nation and we should keep on seeing it as the one that is indissoluble and the one that we as a whole unite behind.
“I absolutely know too well what your family is and what you have done.”
Answering, Ameachi said it took a ton of fortitude to visit Lagos since he perceives Tinubu’s impact in the state.
“It is something troublesome to try and come here since we definitely realize that our chief comes from Lagos state. What’s more, you come from that group of our chief,” he said.
“We realize that our chief is famously able to control this country. He has driven Lagos state.”
On April 9, Amaechi proclaimed his goal to campaign for the position of president, depicting his choice as a “ethical obligation to give whatever is possible in the assistance of my country”.
Months earlier, Bola Tinubu, an APC tribal leader, had reported his “deep rooted” aspiration to lead the country.
