Port-Harcourt Refinery is not shut down. It is fully operational – NNPCL
The Nigerian Public Petrol Organization Restricted (NNPCL) has denied reports that Port Harcourt Treatment facility is dormant, demanding that the recently restored processing plant is as yet utilitarian.
There have been reports that the treatment facility which started procedure on November 26 has been closed down. In any case, in a proclamation delivered today by its representative, Olufemi Soneye, the Public oil organization expressed groundwork for the day’s stacking activity is right now continuous.
“The consideration of the Nigerian Public Petrol Organization Restricted (NNPC Ltd) has been attracted to reports in a segment of the media claiming that the Old Port Harcourt Processing plant which was re-streamed two months prior has been closed down. We wish to explain that such reports are absolutely bogus as the processing plant is completely functional as confirmed a couple of days prior by previous gathering overseeing heads of NNPC.
Groundwork for the day’s stacking activity is presently continuous. Individuals from general society are encouraged to disapprove such reports as they are the fantasies of the creative mind of the people who need to make fake shortage and sham Nigerians.”
