Smokers’ Alert: NAFDAC’s verdict on lung-cleansing herbal tea
The Public Organization for Food and Medication Organization and Control (NAFDAC) has excused claims that it supported a “lung-purging home grown tea” for smokers.
In a proclamation gave on Saturday, NAFDAC’s Chief General, Mojisola Adeyeye, explained that the item, called Lungitox (Smokers Pride), was not supported for enlistment.
She made sense of that the application for enrollment was dismissed due to the unmerited and risky case that smoking could be made “sound” using the item.
