Truck Crushes Couple To Death In Ogun
A Couple And a man have been affirmed dead in a street mishap that happened along the Sagamu-Ogijo Street, Ogun State.
The mishap included a Foton truck with enrollment number EKY 778 XM, a space cart vehicle enlisted as AM299AHD, and a Bajaj cruiser with the enrollment number JGB 265 WG.
The departed, Moses Ekpolo, 25, his significant other, Josephine Ekpolo, 19 and 44-year-old Kolawole Moshood, were articulated washed up at the emergency clinic.
Omolola Odutola, the Ogun Police Order’s representative, said in an assertion on Sunday in Abeokuta that the occurrence happened at 9 pm on Thursday.
She credited the reason for the mishap to the foolishness of the transporter, who let completely go and crashed into the cruiser from behind, making it hit the Space Cart vehicle all the while.
Odutola noticed that Moses and his better half rode on the cruiser.
She said: “The occurrence close to Lafarge Organization along the Sagamu-Ogijo Turnpike in Sagamu, Ogun State, involved a Foton truck with the enrollment number EKY 778 XM, for which the driver’s name and address are at present obscure; a Space Cart vehicle with the enlistment number AM 299 AHD, driven by one Wahab Ogunyemi; and a Bajaj cruiser with the enlistment number JGB 265 WG, ridden by one Moses Ekpolo, a 25-year-old, alongside his 19-year-old spouse, Josephine Ekpolo.
“The driver of the truck out of nowhere let completely go, leaving his path and crashed into the cruiser from behind, making it hit the space cart vehicle at the same time.
“The cruiser rider, his significant other and a traveler in the space cart vehicle, Kolawole Moshood, all experienced serious wounds. They were immediately taken to Idera Private Medical clinic in Sagamu, where they were articulated dead upon appearance. Their bodies have been moved to Idera Funeral home in Sagamu.”
Odutola cautioned verbalized vehicles to constantly drive securely and encouraged street clients to give a sensible hole to explained vehicles out and about.
