According to an X consumer Kuanele, who shared the story, the bride insist on maintaining her maiden call due to the fact she is the primary physician in her own circle of relatives .

The X consumer wrote,

“The chat at the radio rn. Chat is that a pair has positioned getting married on preserve bc he needs her to take his surname however she needs a double barrel bc of she’s a physician . She’s the primary dr in her own circle of relatives so she desires to maintain that call ,” she wrote.
“Man is announcing no bc if he’s gonna pay lobola and all, she has to take his surname.”
