Veteran actor, Taiwo Hassan aka Ogogo dies after battle with stage 4 cancer

Renowned Nollywood actor and director, Taiwo Hassan, widely recognized as Ogogo, has passed away after struggling with stage-four cancer.

His daughter, Kira Hassan, shared the heartbreaking news through an emotional Instagram Live broadcast on Sunday, asserting, “My father has passed away. I can’t believe it.”

Just last week, she had taken to social media to reveal that her father was facing a terminal illness. She mentioned that the family was not looking for donations but rather seeking connections to a hospital that could admit him for care, as every facility they approached refused him due to the advanced stage of his condition.

Ogogo’s passing occurs just two months shy of his 67th birthday.
