Better start crying, you can’t defeat Tinubu in 2027 – Wike to opposition

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, on Tuesday, August 18, warned the competition to dismiss the thinking of defeating President Bola Tinubu in 2027, stressing that they must start crying ahead of the polls.

Wike stated the competition can decide to place their house in order after 2027 because they could’t defeat Tinubu in January.

talking during a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday, the minister said:

“while the winning man could be scoring over 500,000 votes, the second one individual scored over four hundred,000; the 1/3 individual can be scoring 17,000? a party of the previous governor? Then whilst it receives to the national election, that is where the birthday party will win?

“try, they understand that the sole issue they are able to do now is to begin crying, but if it’s to win the election, no, they could’t win.

“perhaps after now they could begin planning and setting their house in order, but if it’s this 2027 election in opposition to Tinubu, no, forget about it, it’s over.

“how you pick leaders is what tries or steps are you making to solve problems, so don’t be speaking about competition; say depleted opposition, which I’m one of those that depleted them.
