Jonathan was blamed for Chibok girls kidnap, but I’m held for Oyo abduction – Makinde

Oyo country Governor Seyi Makinde has criticised the ones blaming his management for the abduction of schoolchildren and instructors in the country.‎

talking for the duration of a go to to Bala Mohammed in Bauchi, Makinde stated the grievance reminded him of the public reaction to the 2014 abduction of the Chibok schoolgirls.

He recalled that many Nigerians held former President Goodluck Jonathan answerable for the Chibok incident and campaigned internationally for the safe return of the girls.

His words …

“It’s implausible. when Chibok happened, it was the fault of President Jonathan. They went all around the global asking Jonathan to deliver again the toddlers.

but while the Oyo state abduction came about, they stated it was the irresponsibility of the country governor and the state government.

“So we want to have a look at our architecture and ensure that where you deliver obligation, you also give authority to address the ones duties.

“And this is exactly what we will do if the humans of Nigeria belief us.”
